Charlie Chaplin's leading ladies and first wife stars

If you are in Hollywood you can find some of Chaplin's leading ladies who have Walk of Fame Stars. From Chaplin's Keystone days: Mabel Normand and Marie Dressler. From his United Artists days: Virginia Cherrill, Paulette Goddard and Martha Raye. From his British productions: Sophia Loren. Also, Chaplin's first wife, Mildred Harris has a star.

Virginia Cherrill, Paulette Goddard and Mildred Harris have their stars near Hollywood and Vine. Mildred's is just west of Vine on Hollywood Blvd. on the north side of the street. Paulette's is south from the corner of Hollywood and Vine, on the eastside of Vine Street. Virginia is in the same area by Hollywood and Vine. I just missed it on this last trip, but fairly close to Paulette's along Vine.

Pass 100 signatures and growing!

We like to thank everyone who has been signing the Edna Purviance's petition! As Mahendra has noted at Facebook, the petition has reached 100 signatures and growing.

It is a long haul, but each signature shows the interest in Edna, which is important. But interest is only one part. Money for the star is also needed. But if you look at the math, if 1000 people sign-up and each fan who signed donated $15, that would raise the money for the star. So the goal is not impossible, when looking at it that way.

Things that seem impossible hold the sweetest reward, when they do happen. So you showing interest in Edna is a great reward in itself. But the signatures need to keep coming. So if you know an Edna fan or just an silent fan who love to see this happen, tell them or their group about it.
